Lawn with Sun Loungers
Our large lawn extending to the Ruhr offers plenty of space for various activities and for all who simply want to experience a short vacation in good weather right on their doorstep. Our deck chairs provide the opportunity to sunbathe, let your soul dangle, or simply spend time with friends and/or loved ones.
Grilled food is available from our open-air grill, and drinks, coffee, and cake from our self-service station on the sun terrace. À la carte from the regular menu is only served and offered in the indoor and outdoor restaurant area.

SUP School Ruhr
The SUP-SCHULE-RUHR by POTT PADDLER offers you the opportunity to get to know and love stand-up paddleboarding in Mintard! Directly on the Ruhr, you will learn the basic techniques and be accompanied and supervised by professionals. Suitable for SUP beginners, private individuals, companies, schools, clubs – generally from 14 years old.

Weiße Flotte
We are fortunate that the pier of the Weiße Flotte, right in front of our lawn on the Ruhr, has been reactivated.
For years, the dock was closed. Now, you have the opportunity to travel to us by boat from Essen-Kettwig or Mülheim city center, enjoying the beautiful scenery along the Ruhr River along the way.

Archery:
On request, you can try archery at the Franky’s meadow (during summer) at our archery station – all in coordination with Abenteuer NRW. There are programs for small and large groups, schools, and open groups.
Possible Schedule:
After meeting at the designated spot, participants receive a technical and safety briefing on the equipment. Then, they can try their hand at intuitive archery at our station. The basic elements of archery, the bow as a sports device, and initial exercises will be explained. The session can conclude with a fun tournament if desired.
Program Costs (Groups)
- 1.5 hours: €32.00 per person (Children up to 18 years / €23.00)
- 2.5 hours: €47.00 per person (Children up to 18 years / €32.00)
